This years Table Tennis summer camp takes place at the Claddagh National School from
22nd to 26th July '13.

Camp will run from 10.00am to 1.00pm on all three days and is open to boys and girls aged 12 to 16.

During the course of the week all the basic skills of table tennis will be introduced to the group and everybody will be given an opporyunity to learn and play in a fun environment.
We will use our TT Robot to assist in coaching sessions and all participants will have an opportunity to test their skills against the 'machine'

The camp will be restricted to a maximum of 18 participants and there will be a minimum of 3 adults in attendance throughout the week.

This year we intend to introduce an additional fun element of 'dance and drama' to the camp for those who wish to participate. We will incorporate the main skills of the game in a dance routine - the 'Ping Pong Haka' which will be coordinated by  Fiona  who has experience in this field.
We hope - subject to progress - to video record the routine on the last day of the camp - and with parent's permission - broadcast the 'Ping Pong Haka' on YouTube.
